Note to self #1: MOVE FAST!

I’m trying to avoid the trap of overthinking things. It turns out that fussing over unnecessary details is NOT a good way to get things done.

I made a little note to myself to MOVE FAST. The note was accompanied by a quick doodle of a rat doing just that.

Then! I SPRANG into ACTION and in absolutely NO TIME AT ALL I was soon…overthinking things and spending waaaaaaay too much time drawing a bunch of rat sketches.

We’re taking rat after rat after rat. After rat.

Sure, I learned a few things along the way and some rats looked better than others. But in the process there comes a point of diminishing returns. The lesson here is that when the wheels are spinning, it’s time to jump ship. Because what kind of ship has WHEELS??
